I hope to see you soon!
Here at Penn View Pets I offer one to one, personal grooming, meaning your dog will enjoy a calm, pleasant grooming experience in my fully equipped, modern salon.
I offer a full grooming service and will carry out a consultation with you to decide the best option for your dog. I am guided by Kennel Club breed standards however these are often not practical or possible so can be adapted to suit you and your dog. We will discuss your requirements, lifestyle and grooming routine at home to be able to provide you with the best results.
I offer all services from bathing, clipping, scissoring and handstripping to ensure your dog looks and feels their best. Please get in touch to discuss your requirements. It is difficult to give quotes without seeing your dog, especially mixed breeds therefore an approximate price will be given over the phone.
All grooms include dead hair removal, ear cleaning and nail clipping if necessary
All cats require grooming and they will usually tend to this themselves. However, those with longer coats or health issues may need additional regular grooming. As cats age they may suffer joint, oral or weight problems, which may prevent them from being able to cope with grooming themselves effectively. As a result their coat may become matted and uncomfortable. This can be avoided with regular coat maintenance.
If a coat becomes severely matted the only humane solution is to shave it off. I can offer your cat regular coat care in a secure, calm environment using specialist tools and expert, kind handling.
I am fully qualified and hold the Pet Industry Federation Cat Grooming Certificate. Please call me to discuss your cat’s grooming requirements and appointment availability, please be aware that prices will heavily depend on the coat condition and the temperament of your cat.

As a member of the Guild of Master Groomers I have personally taken many practical and written exams over the years to gain my Higher Diploma. I have also successfully placed at grooming competitions in the past. For the last 9 years I have been tutoring students to City & Guilds level 3 standards, preparing them for their Introductory Level 3 and Professional Diploma.
I hold a teaching qualification and assessor award and enjoy teaching fellow groomers, watching them improve and grow in confidence. I also love to learn and continually attend educational events, seminars and workshops to improve my own skills and knowledge.
I can tailor training to suit your needs and visit you at your salon for one to one tuition. Alternatively a group workshop/seminar can be arranged.
I am also a qualified canine massage & exercise therapist and hold canine massage workshops.
Please contact me to discuss your requirements.
Massage is a hugely beneficial, natural therapy. It helps to reduce stress and areas of tension, releasing tight, sore muscles, breaking down restrictive scar tissue caused by injury and removing debilitating knots and trigger points.
It can be used as a preventative, corrective or maintenance treatment to keep your dog in optimum condition. Massage is a valuable treatment for dogs of all ages and lifestyles and can help with a range of issues such as muscular/soft tissue, orthopedic and neurological problems.
