For as long as I can remember I’ve had a huge love and respect for animals. Being able to work with them everyday was always my dream. 20 years ago when I began my career in the pet industry, as a groomer I quickly realised how many pets were sick. Gut problems, ear and skin issues, anxiety, allergies, yeast issues, periodontal disease, I was seeing these things on a daily basis.
Around the same time I got my first dog, a rescue Staffie cross called Mustard. He had some health and behaviour issues, which after exhausting all options with conventional veterinary treatments, led me to find a wonderful holistic vet, Nick Thompson.
This was the beginning of my interest in pet health, diet and wellness. My fresh feeding journey and passion for nutrition started here!
As well as grooming and nutrition I also qualified and worked as a canine massage therapist for around 6 years. Although I no longer practice, these skills are in my tool kit and give me added knowledge to be able to advise you and help your pets.
Over the years I’ve never stopped learning and have gained so much experience from all of my own pets and all of the wonderful dog’s and cat’s I’ve worked with. I’m so grateful that I get to spend everyday sharing that knowledge to keep your pet’s healthy, in a natural, gentle way. There is nothing more rewarding to me than being in a position to empower pet guardians to enable you to make informed decisions about your pet’s health.
